Cosmetic Surgery Wisconsin

How much of a settlement are we looking at?
A close friend of mine lost his pinkey finger in an accident at work. His glove got caught in a machine and it ripped off his hand. They were unable to reattach it and he had to go through painful surgery to remove also part of his knuckle as not to impede future actions. He is from Wisconsin, but the job he was working is in Arkansas. They are taking care of all the medical costs, but when the adjuster calls him for the settlement for loss of finger (knuckle and part of hand might not be included as it might be seen as cosmetic) what is a reasonable figure? I have read online that it varies anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000.
Workers comp, you don’t get pain & suffering. The formula is calculated also based on what he does for a living, how the lost pinky affects his job performance, and how old he is.
