Cosmetic surgery & perineal tear..?
I had a 1st degree tear when i delivered my son. However when it healed there was a hole so my dr stitched it up in the office to make sure it healed rite this time & when i went back it was worse than before. So on mon i had to go to the hospital to be operated on (i had my period @ the time). They put me under, put the stitches in and so on. And yesterday (sat) i noticed i started bleeding again. Should i be concerned? Im afraid my stitches ripped or moved. I have an appt. with the dr on friday and now i fear shell say it didnt heal rite again
You poor thing. As if it isn’t enough we get split apart giving birth, you have to go through reconstructive surgery too? I had many, many stitches after my first child and pulled a stitch, but it didn’t affect it. I really think you would know if a stitch ripped, it would be very painful in the least. Our periods are always unpredictable after we give birth. Don’t stress yourself over a ‘maybe’. Wait until you see your doctor. She’ll check out the stitches and tell you how the recovery is going.
