Do you think that cosmetic surgery can cause low self-esteem or poor body image? Why?
Apart from the obvious example of cosmetic surgery going wrong, do you think cosmetic surgery can cause low self-esteem in people who have it? Do you think the fact people can have cosmetic surgery at all nowadays can cause low self-esteem in those who don’t even undergo it?
Any other reasons you do or don’t think it does?
most people go have surgery because they have low self-esteem issues in the first place, media portrayals of ‘sexy’ young girls who have made a career out of having cosmetic enhancements plays the biggest part in self esteem issues for girls, i believe so anyway
