Cosmetic Surgery Flexible Spending Account
Before Deciding on a Health Care Program-You Need to Know
Illness is not important until it comes knocking at your door. Our health is very fragile and is the only thing that really matters in the end. We push our bodies to the limits and we don’t value good health until it is lost. Our doctor visits in Canada are paid for by our Health Care system. However the prescriptions and other services are not covered and have to be paid for by traditional insurance with monthly premiums or personal bank account (Out of Pocket).
Our income usually determines the extra health related procedures we may want done. We will not have cosmetic surgery or laser hair removal done because of the cost. There are times that very essential procedures for good and Pain Free health is put off such as Root canals, dental surgery, and even Eye laser procedures.
Massage and Chiropractic treatments are simple and essential extras for a healthy Well Being and unfortunately not covered by many basic group plans. What if you could pay for all those with before tax dollars?
C.R.A (Canada Revenue Agency) introduced the Flexible Employee Benefit Programs under the Income Tax Act some 20 years ago. Under that is a component to Health Care where business owners can pay for their health expenses with before tax dollars. These are called Private Health Spending Plans or Health Care Spending Accounts. That was my choice as a business owner.

About the Author
As a small business owner I had difficulties with the typical monthly installment plans. They had too many limitations and cost were high. I was introduced to Private Health Spending Plans in the late 90′s and it worked perfectly for my needs. After selling my business 6 years ago I joined Custom Care as a Benefit Specialist. I now have developed my own site to bring this to as business owners as possible. For more info go to http://canadianhealthspendingplan.com
