Cosmetic Surgery East Grinstead
How can I get a professional second opinion on my eye bag removal surgery?
I had my eyebags removed just over a year ago. I dont feel that the surgeon did a very good job. One of the cuts at the side of the eye (my surgeon didnt just cut under the eye, he went out about a centimetre at each side) looked lumpy from day one, and after a year I had the scar revised. Its still not that good, though, and I dont think the surgeon took enough excess skin away from under the eye. I have asked him, but he says he has. My dilemma is that I am thinking “of course he would say that!” and I would like a proper medical second opinion as to whether the best job possible has been done. I imagine that cosmetic surgeons all stick together though, so not sure what to do. Any tips? I live in the sout-east, can get to London, East Grinstead, Tunbridge Wells etc. Any advice would be really appreciated.
Sorry to hear that, unfortunately, there are many incompetent plastic surgeons out there. Go ahead and get a 2nd opinion from a trusted and known plastic surgeon and tell him the “damage” done and what can be done to rectify the problem. The only unfortunate thing is that you will have to pay him again, thus, costing you more in the long run. choose wisely. There are many options now to tighten/renew the skin via laser therapies that are less-invasive…speak with a true professional. Good luck!
